Job summary

Sandia Resort & Casino in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Surveillance Officer to monitor gaming activities and report violations of casino policies, NIGC, STGC regulations, and the New Mexico Gaming Compact. You will observe across tables, slots, bingo, and cash handling, and document events for legal use.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year of casino operations experience (surveillance, security dispatch, table games, slots, cage/vault).
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain surveillance across casino activities using multiple monitors.
  • Document monetary transactions and procedural inconsistencies.
  • Prepare logs and provide evidence for legal use.
  • Maintain radio contact with security and surveillance staff.
  • Adhere to chain of command and confidentiality requirements.
  • Develop professional relationships and support a collaborative environment.
  • Attend to attendance and shift schedules as per policy.
