Job summary

Golden Nugget Lake Tahoe is seeking a Security Officer to perform basic and advanced security functions and guest services across the property. The role emphasizes professional guest service aligned with the K.E.E.P.

values and requires a gaming license from the Nevada Gaming Control Board. Responsibilities include security patrols, identification checks for age-restricted areas, incident reporting, and various security duties.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer-service orientation.
• Fluent English, excellent verbal and written communication.
• Able to read, interpret documents in English.
• Knowledge of basic math and security procedures.
• Proficiency with Windows and MS Office applications.
• Gaming license by the Nevada Gaming Control Board required.
• Ability to work varied shifts including weekends/holidays.
• CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide unequaled service to guests and employees.
• Perform casino-related responsibilities (fills, credits, drops, voids).
• Carry out area-based security patrols throughout the property.
• Conduct age verification for 21+ areas.
• Enforce company Code of Conduct and regulations.
• Conduct investigations into violations and security incidents.
• Prepare security reports and incident documentation.
• Respond to inquiries from guests or employees.
