Job summary

Golden Nugget Lake Tahoe is seeking a Security Officer to perform basic and advanced security duties and guest services, upholding the keep company values. You will conduct casino-related tasks, patrol premises, verify age, investigate incidents, and document reports, while maintaining professionalism in a busy hospitality environment.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to work varied shifts including weekends/holidays, and compliance with Nevada gaming regulations.

Qualifications

• Excellent analytical, problem solving, administrative, multi-tasking, organization and prioritization skills.
• Fluent English and articulate verbal/written communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver quality results.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Basic math skills and ability to perform basic calculations.
• Must be 21+ and able to pass gaming background screening.
• Ability to operate security equipment like two-way radio and handcuffs.

Responsibilities

• Provide unequaled service to guests and employees.
• Perform casino-related duties such as fills, credits, drops, and voids.
• Conduct security patrols in assigned areas of the property.
• Check IDs to ensure patrons are 21+ in age restricted areas.
• Enforce the Code of Conduct and rules and regulations.
• Conduct investigations into violations of laws and company policies.
• Prepare security reports and incident documentation.
• Respond to high-stress situations calmly and effectively.
• Handle lost and found property.
• Perform exterior perimeter checks of company property.
