Job summary

Bally's Corporation in Dover, DE is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to patrol assigned areas and safeguard patrons and staff on the gaming floor.

Responsibilities include responding to emergencies, enforcing access controls, escorting money transfers, and delivering exceptional customer service while complying with safety rules and regulations. Weekend/nights availability required; valid driver’s license and background check are prerequisites.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Must be able to pass a background check and obtain a DE Lottery license.
• CPR, AED, First Aid and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certifications or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Patrols assigned areas and maintains surveillance to protect patrons and employees.
• Guard against crime on the casino floor and manage nuisances and suspicious persons.
• Respond to emergencies and provide aid as needed.
• Escort and oversee money transfers to count rooms.
• Utilize radio for direction and communication with security base.
• Complete incident reports and provide information to patrons.
• Assist in evacuation during emergencies and maintain safety compliance.
• Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication with staff and guests.
• Drive company vehicle for parking lot rover duties.
