Job summary

Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, NV seeks a seasoned Security Director to lead the property’s security and asset protection programs. You will oversee a team of managers and supervisors, coordinate with law enforcement, and promote Westgate’s Service Excellence Standards.

Preferred qualifications include casino security expertise and instructor experience, with the ability to manage high-stress situations and ensure compliance with gaming regulations and safety protocols.

Qualifications

5+ years of formal instructor experience in military or law enforcement preferred.
5+ years in certified instruction on use of force and defensive tactics preferred.
Ability to implement policies and procedures to maintain oversight of armed program curriculum.
Nevada Concealed Weapons Permit or law enforcement equivalent (HR-218) preferred.
Range Safety Officer (RSO) Certification preferred.
Certified armorer experience with firearms preferred.
Ability to build relationships with local fire and police departments and other government entities.
Ability to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
Able to lead and mentor a team.
Interpersonal skills to work effectively with all business contacts.
Professional appearance and demeanor.

Responsibilities

Oversee the Security program with emphasis on Communications, Training & Development, Investigations and Special Events.
Liaise with federal, state, and local law enforcement or regulators for investigations.
Maintain professional environment and uphold Westgate’s Service Excellence Standards.
Research and recommend professional training opportunities to maintain industry standards.
Demonstrate knowledge of hotel and casino security operations.
Establish, administer, and evaluate department policies and objectives.
