Plaza Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas is seeking a Security Officer to deliver superior guest service, patrol the property, respond to emergencies, and protect guests, employees, and assets. The role emphasizes professional conduct, strong communication, and quick decision-making in a fast-paced casino environment.
Responsibilities include escorting guests, facilitating safety during incidents, and reporting security activities.
Qualifications
- 6 months of customer service, security, or related experience
- Ability to participate in all evacuation procedures during emergencies
- CPR/AED training within 60 days of employment
- Complete security training including handcuffing within 90 days
- Able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Professional appearance and demeanor; strong English communication
Responsabilités
- Patrol and monitor all areas of the property
- Respond to disturbances and take appropriate action
- Escort guests to destinations and provide directions
- Assist injured guests and provide first aid until help arrives
- Operate a two-way radio to communicate with Security personnel
- Complete reports on property incidents using a computer
- Observe access to guest rooms and ensure only 21+ in gaming areas
