Job summary

Grand Casino Hinckley is seeking a Security/EMT professional responsible for delivering security, first aid and emergency medical services to Guests and Associates while providing outstanding Guest Service.

Duties include informing guests about events, reporting incidents, ensuring asset safety, verifying IDs for under-21 guests, attending to medical needs, and coordinating with departments during emergencies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• EMTs or EMRs must have successfully completed a nationally recognized course.
• Successful completion of a state recognized course for Emergency Medical Technicians.
• Successfully passed a state EMT registry examination.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of Grand Casino facilities, events and promotions to advise Guests and Associates.
• Provide information for reports regarding security/medical incidents involving Guests, Associates, and/or the facility.
• Ensure safe transportation of Company assets.
• Request identification from all persons under 21 to ensure compliance with gaming regulations.
• Attend to the medical needs of Guests and Associates.
• Ensure proper identification of all vendors/contractors.
• Communicate with all departments during emergencies or when attention is required.
• Maintain inventory of oxygen, wheelchairs, first aid supplies and related items.
• Familiar with hazardous materials and applicable laws, rules and regulations.
• Familiar with property fire protection systems, alarm panel and response protocol.
• Familiar with OSHA standards and conduct inspections to ensure compliance.
