Job summary

Fresca, LLC in Las Vegas is seeking an EVS Porter to support Environmental Services by keeping guest and team areas clean. You will help maintain sanitation standards and a safe, welcoming property and contribute to delivering excellent guest service.

Ideal candidates have a year of janitorial or porter experience, can follow instructions in a fast-paced casino environment, communicate clearly, and work well in a team while upholding safety and inclusion policies.

Qualifications

• 1 year of janitorial or porter experience in a casino or similar environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous guest service aligned with from the company’s guest service culture.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas including slot machines, chairs, fixtures, signs, mirrors, and light fixtures (up to 9 feet).
• Clean public restrooms, wipe surfaces, sanitize toilets/urinals, empty trash, restock paper products.
• Remove debris from floors, vacuum carpets, mop, sweep and scrub floors as needed.
• Stock cleaning supplies and empty/clean trash containers regularly.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations when applicable.
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to guests and team members per guest service standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description Summary

As the EVS Porter, you play an essential role in supporting the daily operations of the Environmental Services department by maintaining the cleanliness of guest and team member areas. You contribute to delivering excellent guest service, upholding sanitation standards, and ensuring a safe, welcoming, and attractive environment. Your focus on cleanliness and attention to detail helps maintain the overall appearance and operational readiness of the property.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company’s guest service culture


• Maintain cleanliness of public areas, including slot machines, chairs, slot stands, fixtures, signs, mirrors, and light fixtures (up to 9 feet)


• Clean public restrooms, including wiping surfaces, sanitizing toilets/urinals, emptying trash containers, and restocking paper products


• Remove debris from floors and walkways, vacuum carpets, and mop, sweep, and scrub floors as needed


• Stock cleaning supplies and empty/clean trash containers regularly


• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position


• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred


• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
