Job summary

Saganing Casino in Standish, MI is seeking a reliable Custodian/Maintenance worker to join the facilities team. Under the supervision of the Facilities Supervisor, responsibilities include cleaning, grounds maintenance, basic plumbing and carpentry, and helping with seasonal upkeep around the casino and surrounding areas.

Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of custodial experience, be able to pass a background check, and possess a valid Michigan driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 1 year custodial and maintenance experience.
• Experience with minor plumbing and carpentry.
• Must pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Clean all areas using vacuum sweepers, mops, and cleaners to maintain building cleanliness.
• Empty trash, dispose waste, and maintain restrooms on schedule.
• Perform grounds maintenance, snow removal, and outdoor cleanup as needed.
• Assist in basic plumbing and carpentry repairs and maintain plumbing systems.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a safe, professional environment.
