Position Summary: The Casino Host is responsible for developing and coordinating programs to attract high-limit players and host such guests to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat visits. Work requires superior communication and judgmental skills, as position is called upon to interact frequently with high-limit guests, and make decisions regarding the issuance of complimentary items. The Host will be expected to exemplify the company mission of providing Hometown Hospitality and delivering Fun and support the core values of Fun, Friendly and Community. The Casino Host is responsible to grow the customer data base of hosted players through one-on-one interactions with our guests and will work, cross functionally and in coordination with the all departments to develop, implement and monitor the annual business plan
Must be 18 years of age or older to apply. Experience in gaming operations. Gregarious, results oriented, hands-on professional with the ability to interact effectively with the public, staff and colleagues. Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or a minimum of 1 year of experience in a comparable position; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. Excellent communication skills both written and oral. Ability to read, analyze, interpret and comprehend technical procedures, government regulations, business periodicals, instructions, and correspondence/memos; write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals; effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers or staff, guests and the general public. Working knowledge of Excel and Word required. Attention to detail and accuracy. Maintain confidential information.
Ability to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise levels, maybe exposed to secondhand smoke except and varied light levels, including flashing lights.
