Job summary

LOUISIANA DOWNS INVESTMENT COMPANY seeks a Security EMT to protect guests and staff and provide emergency medical assistance. The role includes directing guests, escorting as needed, and coordinating with authorities.

You will respond to medical emergencies, complete incident reports, and maintain safety standards across the property. Strong written skills and English proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Certified EMT by the State of Louisiana.
• Valid Louisiana driver’s license with no DUI or suspensions in the last 3 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of guest contact experience.
• Must be able to prepare effective written reports.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must obtain Alcohol Awareness, First Aid and CPR certifications.

Responsibilities

• Protects the safety and well-being of guests and employees.
• Gives directions and escorts customers as needed.
• Assists civil and law enforcement authorities including court testimony.
• Provides first aid and CPR as necessary.
• Patrols property to identify safety hazards and security breaches.
• Investigates and documents incidents per policy.
• Writes detailed descriptions of people and incidents for lost and found.
• Enforces company policies and procedures.
• Meets attendance guidelines and works any shift.
• Emergency medical responder for gaming sessions.
