Job summary
North Fork Mono Casino is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer to perform general maintenance and repair duties in support of a 24/7 casino operation. This role assists with inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and life safety systems.
The position reports to the Engineering Manager and collaborates with contractors and internal teams to ensure reliable operations; CMMS timeliness and safety compliance are essential for
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience with building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, life safety).
- Ability to read blueprints and manuals.
- Proficient with hand tools and diagnostic devices.
- Experience in hospitality or casino environments is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, lighting, and minor carpentry.
- Complete preventive maintenance and inspections per CMMS schedules.
- Respond to service calls during assigned shift and resolve guest-facing issues promptly.
- Troubleshoot facility systems and escalate complex issues as needed.
- Support HVAC, electrical, or plumbing tasks based on trade experience.
- Document work orders, labor, and materials in CMMS.
- Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams during shutdowns.
