Grand Casino Mille Lacs & Hinckley is seeking an Environmental Services (EVS) professional to implement and ensure casino-wide cleaning operations on the assigned shift in line with Grand Casino policies. The role requires adherence to safety rules and professional guest interaction to maintain high cleanliness standards throughout the property.

Responsibilities include using cleaning materials per instructions, operating equipment, and coordinating with maintenance for repairs while ensuring

Qualifications

Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred.
Must secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
Responsible for following Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGRs).
Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference may be exercised in hiring.

Responsibilities

Ensure use of all cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment per manufacturer’s instructions.
Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety rules and regulations.
Interact with guests and other departments in a professional and courteous manner.
Ensure guest safety and satisfaction by maintaining approved cleanliness standards across the casino.
Advise maintenance on repairs and replacements as needed in assigned areas.
Clean restrooms, gaming floor, hotel lobby, convention center areas, food venues, and offices.
Operate large equipment such as carpet extractors, sweepers, buffers, and scrubbers if required.
Handle blood borne pathogens and bio-hazardous materials per service standards.
