Job summary

Fedway Associates, Inc. seeks a Casino Development Manager to grow wine and spirits business within casino properties, focusing on restaurants, bars, lounges, and entertainment venues.

You will liaison between Casino Team, F&B management, venue operators, and supplier partners to expand placements and campaigns. The role also manages high-profile On-Premise accounts in South Jersey, reporting to the Director of Casinos and collaborating with wine, luxury, and education teams to develop beverage

Qualifications

  • Must possess a valid driver's license and secure and maintain auto-liability insurance by state laws.
  • Able to obtain and meet industry licensing requirements as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with casino F&B leadership, restaurant and bar managers, beverage directors, and other key decision-makers.
  • Regularly meet with casino venues to understand their business, beverage strategy, guest demographics, and menu offerings.
  • Identify opportunities to expand Fedway’s wine and spirits presence across casino outlets.
  • Conduct detailed menu reviews to identify wine-by-the-glass placements, cocktail features, and permanent menu placements.
  • Present targeted wine and spirits recommendations to casino management and venues.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with high-profile non-casino On-Premise accounts in South Jersey.
  • Communicate account issues and opportunities to the Director of Casinos and internal teams.

Education

Job description

The Casino Development Manager is responsible for developing and growing Fedway’s wine and spirits business within casino properties, with a primary focus on the individual restaurants, bars, lounges, entertainment venues, and other food & beverage outlets operating within each property.

This role serves as a key liaison between Fedway’s Casino Team, casino Food & Beverage management, individual venue operators, and supplier partners. The Casino Development Manager will identify opportunities to increase placements, develop beverage programs, execute events and promotions, and strengthen Fedway’s presence throughout each casino property.

In addition to casino responsibilities, the position will manage a select group of high-profile On-Premise accounts in South Jersey as designated by On-Premise management.

The Casino Development Manager reports directly to the Director of Casinos and will work closely with the broader On-Premise, Wine, Spirits, Luxury, and supplier teams.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with casino Food & Beverage leadership, restaurant and bar managers, beverage directors, and other key decision-makers.
  • Regularly meet with individual casino venues to understand their business, beverage strategy, guest demographics, and current menu offerings.
  • Identify opportunities to expand Fedway’s wine and spirits presence across restaurants, bars, lounges, entertainment venues, and other casino outlets.
  • Conduct detailed menu reviews to identify opportunities for wine-by-the-glass placements, cocktail features, permanent menu placements, back-bar visibility, and additional distribution.
  • Present targeted wine and spirits recommendations that address specific opportunities within each venue.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with designated high-profile non-casino On-Premise accounts throughout South Jersey.
  • Communicate account issues, competitive activity, opportunities, and service concerns to the Director of Casinos and appropriate internal teams.
Beverage Program Development
  • Develop strategic wine and spirits programs tailored to individual casino properties and venues.
  • Create programs around holidays, seasonal opportunities, entertainment schedules, gifting occasions, major sporting events, and other relevant wine and spirits occasions.
  • Partner with casino management and supplier teams to develop beverage features, cocktail programs, wine-by-the-glass programs, tastings, dinners, and promotional activations.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce new products and expand existing brands throughout casino properties.
  • Ensure programs support both the needs of the casino customer and Fedway's overall portfolio and supplier objectives.
Sales & Business Growth
  • Promote and sell Fedway's portfolio of wines and spirits to casino and designated On-Premise accounts.
  • Identify opportunities for new placements, incremental distribution, upselling, and cross-selling.
  • Analyze menus, purchasing patterns, sales performance, and competitive placements to uncover opportunities for growth.
  • Develop presentations and recommendations that clearly demonstrate opportunities to casino management and individual venue operators.
  • Track placements, programs, and sales results to measure performance and identify additional opportunities.
Market & Industry Knowledge
  • Maintain a strong understanding of wine and spirits trends, emerging categories, new products, consumer preferences, and competitive activity.
  • Use market insights to help casino customers develop relevant and innovative beverage programs.
  • Maintain knowledge of Fedway's portfolio and identify products that best fit each venue's concept, price point, clientele, and beverage strategy.
Training & Education
  • Provide product knowledge, education, and training to casino restaurant, bar, and beverage teams.
  • Organize and conduct tastings, staff trainings, seminars, and product presentations.
  • Partner with Fedway's Wine, Spirits, Luxury, and Education teams when appropriate to provide additional expertise and support.
  • Help casino teams understand product positioning, brand stories, cocktail applications, wine pairings, and selling opportunities.
Events & Activations
  • Collaborate with casino management, individual venues, and supplier partners to plan and execute wine and spirits events, tastings, dinners, launch parties, gifting programs, and promotional activations.
  • Coordinate with internal Fedway teams and suppliers to ensure proper product availability, event support, and execution.
  • Maintain high standards for presentation and execution while ensuring events align with customer expectations and Fedway's
Education, Certifications and /or licenses:
  • Able to obtain and meet industry licensing requirements as needed
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and secure and maintain auto-liability insurance by state laws
Physical Demands:
  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 40lbs.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, and move about the office and market environments.
Compensation:
  • Salary starts at $60,000/annually commensurate with experience.
