Maverick Gaming LLC in Central City, CO is seeking a diligent Cash Handler to manage cash, chip and coin counts in a secure area, and to record transactions daily.

This role requires accuracy, Excel skills, and basic math, with eligibility for a $1,000 sign-on bonus and a competitive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and a 401K. On-site position with paid time off and holidays.

Applicants must be able to obtain a Colorado gaming license and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Count all cash, chips, and coin from previous gaming day in a locked room under surveillance.
• Record all money on the master gaming reports.
• Audit games daily and change games as needed (Pull-tab).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to interface effectively with co-workers in a small space.
• Accuracy and attention to detail is necessary for completion of regulatory forms.
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience with cash handling.
• Must be able to obtain a Colorado State Gaming license.

Physical Demands:

This position is extremely physical in nature, and requires such physical abilities including but not limited to:

• Ability to see and identify different denominations of gaming chips, currency and be able to count and stock chips and currency
• Ability to retrieve full and empty drop boxes, which involves pulling, bending, balancing and twisting.
• Ability to push and or pulling BV carts weighing up to 800 LB.
• Ability to remain standing for majority of shift and to move around count room in an efficient manner.

Salary: $20/hr-$22/hr
