Job summary

Gun Lake Casino Resort is seeking a Count Team Attendant in Wayland, MI. You will support the drop of bills from slot machines and count funds from table games and slots, poker, sportsbook, keno, and kiosks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and compliance with licensing and security standards. Candidates must be 21+ with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with little supervision or as a team.
• Ability to maintain effective relationships.
• Attention to detail and accuracy are required.
• Be able to perform math calculations without the use of a calculator.
• Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license from Gun Lake Tribal Gaming Authority.

Responsibilities

• Promotes Gun Lake Casino Resort’s unserspassed service standards.
• Protects company assets.
• Complies with SICS and policies for drop and count.
• Performs daily drop of bills from slot machines.
• Opens slot bill validators and counts currency.
• Sorts and bundles currency by denomination.
• Ensures counts are complete and documented.
• Opens Table Games pit boxes and counts currency and paperwork.
• Inputs totals by box and shift into the computer.
• Remits tallied currency to the Cage and accounting reports.
• Maintains cleanliness of the count room.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Opens Poker cans, sorts and verifies contents.
• Fills and processes Kiosks – including BV’s and cash cassettes.
