Job summary

Landry's in Laughlin, NV seeks a Soft Count Clerk to support the casino revenue process. Under supervision, you will count and load revenues from all departments, ensuring accurate reporting and strict confidentiality in the Count Room.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of cash handling experience.
• Ability to operate a computer terminal and communicate with the public in a clear and friendly manner.
• Knowledge of 10 key, balancing of banks.
• Solid decision-making, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced multi-tasking, hands-on environment.
• Minimum age is 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Collect funds from slot machines.
• Report and document the amount of funds received through gaming play.
• Assist in sorting, counting, and recording of currency in the Count Room.
• Count revenues from all casino departments (gaming and nongaming).
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Complete reported drop totals accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment within area of responsibility.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
