Job summary

Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana is seeking a Kitchen Steward responsible for cleaning and maintaining all food and beverage wares, kitchens, and service areas to align with F&B goals and high standards.

You will assist in the kitchen, manage inventory, support chefs, and ensure sanitation and timely setup. The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and cooperation with all departments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and write English required.
• One-year guest service experience in a casino or family/formal dining environment preferred.
• Casino Food & Beverage experience preferred.
• Must have valid Food Handlers Card, Liquor License and IGC Badge when working.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of assigned areas and kitchen.
• Assist in main kitchen with preparation of dishes as required.
• Ensure proper handling of dishes, utensils, and equipment.
• Rotate and maintain inventory of food items and beverages.
• Adhere to sanitation codes and safety policies during service.
