Job summary

Yaamava Resort & Casino at San Manuel is seeking a bartender to deliver attentive guest service, manage drinks and garnishes, and handle cash with accuracy. You’ll verify ages, follow bar procedures, and assist with opening/closing duties in a fast-paced casino environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining drink knowledge, stocking supplies, and supporting special events or banquets under supervision. This role requires 21+ eligibility and a strong focus on guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Basic math for cash handling and making change.
• Ability to manage cash transactions accurately and securely.
• Provide friendly and efficient service to guests and team members.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and eligible for service.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with guests in an attentive and welcoming manner while expediting drinks during peak hours.
• Maintains knowledge of drinks, recipes, ABV, and garnishes; prepares fresh garnishes and stocks bar.
• Verifies guest ages and ensures accurate payment collection; cash and carry policy applies.
• Verifies liquor inventory and maintains bar setup with garnishes, napkins, sticks, and ice.
• Manages a $2,000 bank for cash handling and settlements; processes bills and voids as needed.
• Keeps workspace clean, organized, and sanitary; prepares bar tops and stations for service.
• Assists with special events, banquets, and guest experiences as directed by Supervisor.
• Reports issues to management, including disruptive guests, and follows incident procedures.
• Performs additional duties to support efficient department operations.
