Job summary

Yaamava Resort & Casino at San Manuel seeks an experienced Bartender to provide attentive beverage service at assigned venues, including outdoor pool deck and special events. You will prepare drinks, garnish, and ensure guest satisfaction in a fast-paced setting.

Candidates must be 21+ with at least 3 months of related experience and certifications (Food Handler’s Card, TIPS). Strong cash handling and English communication skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum three (3) months of related experience and/or training.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with guests in an attentive, welcoming manner and efficiently handle large drink quantities during peak hours.
• Maintain knowledge of drinks, recipes, prices, ABV, and garnishes; prepare garnishes and stock the bar at shift start and clean at closing.
• Verify guest ages and manage cash for beverages; all beverage orders are cash and carry except inside restaurants where added to the guest check.
• Verify liquor inventory at shift start and request restocks as needed; set up bar tops with necessary supplies.
• Handle a $2,000 bank and all monetary obligations, including voids and debts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace and bar area.
• Assist with special projects and events as directed by the Supervisor.
• Report problems to management, including disruptive behavior.
• Perform other duties to support department operations.
