Job summary

Mountain View Co-op in Conrad, MT is seeking a Bartender/Casino Attendant to welcome customers, serve beverages, and operate gaming machines with precise cash handling in a bar-casino setting.

You will ensure safety, maintain a clean environment, and uphold Montana liquor laws. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required; reporting to the Location Manager, you’ll support ongoing promotions and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be legally eligible to serve alcoholic beverages under Montana law.
• Ability to accurately handle cash and customer transactions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain any permits, certifications, or licenses required for the position.
• Ability to pass any pre-employment requirements applicable to the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to customers, vendors, and guests.
• Create a welcoming and professional atmosphere for all patrons.
• Report to work fit for duty and maintain professional appearance standards.
• Handle customer questions, concerns, & complaints professionally and promptly.
• Communicate operational concerns & customer feedback to management.
• Stock and replenish beer, wine, liquor, mixers, ice, glassware, & related supplies.
• Verify customer age & identification in accordance with Montana alcohol beverage laws.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages.
• Process customer orders and payments accurately using point-of-sale systems.
• Handle cash, checks, credit cards, & other approved forms of payment.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information & transactions.
• Operate gaming equipment & perform duties in compliance with all applicable gaming regulations & company policies.
• Monitor gaming activity & process payouts according to established procedures.
• Obtain required customer documentation for gaming payouts when applicable.
• Maintain accurate records & transaction reconciliations.
• Follow Mountain View Co-op cash handling & credit policies.
• Promote current programs, specials, & marketing initiatives.
• Maintain cleanliness & organization of the bar, casino, customer areas, & workspaces.
• Assist with facility upkeep & minor maintenance activities as assigned.
• Follow all company safety policies & promote a safe work environment.
• Comply with all Mountain View Co-op policies, including workplace conduct, safety, alcohol service, & drug and alcohol policies.
