Job summary

The Rose Gaming Resort is a premier gaming and entertainment complex in Dumfries, Virginia. As a Bartender, you will provide excellent customer service, mix drinks accurately, keep the bar stocked, and ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for guests across the casino and lounge areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Gaming, Casino or hospitality experience preferred.
• Must be at least eighteen (21) years of age.
• Bartender Training and/or Previous Bartender Experience.
• OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours.
• The ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with guests in a cordial and approachable manner with a smile, always.
• Expedites large quantities of drinks efficiently and accurately during club hours.
• Keeps bar top clean, ashtrays emptied, and stocks bar at start of shift.
• Verifies the legal age of all guests and handles beverage payments.
• Responsible for a bank to receive payment and give change to guests.
• Maintains knowledge of all drinks, recipes, and garnishes.
• Take scheduled breaks on time and cash tips in, on their own time.
• No eating, smoking, or chewing gum on the floor.
• Performs other duties to support department operations.
• Assists with special events and banquets as directed.
