Job description

The Assistant Casino Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day Casino operations while resolving any guest issues. This role involves communicating with all levels of management while providing exceptional guest service that promotes guest satisfaction and repeat business. Ensure that all Team Members comply with company standards and gaming regulations.


Job Focus:
Focus is on, but not limited to, the following:
  1. Provides leadership and guidance in the daily operation of the Casino floor.
  2. Performs numerous daily tasks and routines to ensure guest and Team Member satisfaction.
  3. Maintains an open-door policy to help resolve any disputes and/or issues.
  4. Exhibits a positive and professional attitude with guests and Team Members.
  5. Ensures customer satisfaction and promotes repeat business.
  6. Ensures compliance with federal and state gaming regulations.
  7. Maintains a visual presence on the casino floor while interacting with guests and Team Members.
  8. Manages table coverage, minimums, and maximums to ensure operational profitability.
  9. Promotes staff development and advancement through positive leadership.
Desired Qualifications:
  1. Proficient knowledge of all Table Games operations.
  2. High school diploma or its equivalent and at least 7 years of experience in the field.
  3. At least 2 years of management experience in a gaming operation.
  4. Available to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
  5. Computer proficient.
  6. Able to work under pressure, exhibiting strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  7. Professional appearance and effective verbal communication skills.
  8. Knowledgeable in a variety of Casino concepts, practices, and procedures.
  9. Ability to complete reports for all levels of management as requested.
  10. A valid Nevada Gaming License and Alcohol Awareness Card are required and must be obtained before entering this position.
  11. Must be 21 years of age or older.
