Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; some college in accounting or equivalent work experience.
• Must be extremely numbers-oriented and proficient in Excel.
• Effective communication and strong organizational skills required.
• Experience with accounting software is a plus; license requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Matches invoices to appropriate documents and processes payment.
• Researches, authorizes, and processes invoices for payment in a timely manner.
• Enters necessary information into computer systems to pay invoices.
• Communicates with departments and vendors regarding invoices and issues.
• Attends departmental meetings to facilitate information flow.
• Maintains accurate, confidential records and reports; files documentation.
• Scans invoices/checks and performs other duties as assigned.
