Job summary

Nisqually Red Wind Casino is seeking a Security Systems Administrator to support the Security Department. The role focuses on administration, installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic and mechanical access control hardware and software, including key control cabinets.

The ideal candidate has locksmith experience, knowledge of access control systems, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Three years locksmith experience or equivalent.
• One year experience with electronic access control systems and key management.
• Knowledge of physical security principles and user access controls.
• Valid driver’s license with clean abstract.
• Intermediate MS Office skills.
• Strong communication and time management abilities.
• Ability to work any shift including weekends/holidays.
• Must obtain Class III Gaming License.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain low voltage locking devices.
• Coordinate vendor work for lock hardware/access control projects.
• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance for keys, locks, and access systems.
• Maintain equipment maintenance history and service records.
• Manage prox cards, keys, and electronic key control system entries.
• Monitor contractors and restore systems after outages or failures.
• Assist with budgeting and cost estimates for hardware installations.
• Read plans/blueprints and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain casino key inventories and related equipment.
