Summary Statement
The Cashier greets Guests, answers phone calls, and tenders checks in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner in a high-volume pool/nightclub atmosphere. Works professionally while maintaining a positive attitude and delivering superior Guest service.

Primary Job Duties:

• Greet, interact, entertain, and serve Guests courteously and promptly with an upbeat attitude.
• Respond to Guest inquiries and requests politely.
• Maintain atmosphere control by circulating through your work area.
• Address Guest concerns or complaints regarding service or beverages positively.
• Maintain knowledge of retail offerings and suggestively sell to guests.
• Control guests' checked-in belongings via a ticketing system and ensure proper care of garments.
• Handle all payments including room charges, cash, credit cards, and comps through the POS system.
• Process payments accurately through the POS terminal.
• Ensure accurate accounting of all bar monies and follow banking procedures.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of POS systems (e.g., Micros, UrVenue).
• Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Polished appearance and demeanor.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in a day club or nightclub setting.
• Experience in a large, luxury resort environment.

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Must be 21 years old.
• At least one year of cash handling experience in a related field.

Certificates and Licenses:

• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Required licenses: Food Handler Card, Alcohol Awareness Card, Nevada Gaming Registration.

Physical Demands:

• Work in a typical club environment with noise, temperature, and lighting variations.
• Prolonged sitting/standing, bending, reaching.
• Transporting items up to 15 lbs.
