Job summary

Monadnock Food Co-op in Keene, NH is hiring a cashier to welcome neighbors and support our local food system with every purchase.

You will handle transactions with accuracy, provide prompt, courteous service, and work as part of the front end to connect customers with fresh regional produce and artisanal goods. Availability for Saturday evenings and Sundays is required. This role includes a 20% employee discount and gainshare opportunities.

From the freshest seasonal produce straight from nearby farms to artisanal goods made with care, you’ll help connect our customer with food they love and our wonderful local producers. The purpose of this position is to provide prompt, courteous customer service, and accurate cash handling. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Schedule: Saturday closing shift until 9:00pm, Sunday hours to vary

*You must be available for this schedule in order to be considered*

Pay Range: Begins at $17.00 with additional compensation for experience
