Job summary

Worldwide Golf's Golf Mart in California is seeking a friendly cashier to promote a customer-first store culture. You will handle transactions, operate the POS system, and assist with floor moves and replenishment.

Qualifications

• Experience with POS systems or cash handling is preferred.
• Comfortable standing and moving around the sales floor for shifts.
• Ability to lift/move up to 35 pounds as needed.

• Process customer transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Assist with floor moves, housekeeping, display maintenance and replenishment.

"Sure No Problem" means putting the customer first, and doing whatever we can to ensure a memorable and positive customer experience.The Cashier is also responsible for all customer transactions, ensuring guest satisfaction at the service desk and proper control of all cash and media materials. Responsibilities include:Demonstrate excellent customer service, keeping in mind that the customer’s last phase of their shopping experience is with the cashier.Process information and merchandise through computer and POS register system.Assist with floor moves, housekeeping, display maintenance and merchandise replenishment as needed.Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.Perform any other duties as assigned by management.Requirements:Knowledge of processing information and merchandise via computer and POS register system.Freely access all areas of the store including sales floor, stock area and register area by standing, walking, stooping, crawling, climbing, crouching, kneeling and climbing a ladder; ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds at any given time.Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.Qualifications Desired:Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply!
