Worldwide Golf Shops LLC is seeking a Cashier in Walnut Creek, CA. The role focuses on delivering a memorable customer experience through excellent service, accurate POS transactions, and cash handling at the service desk.

The position supports store operations, merchandise processing, and replenishment. It offers part-time and full-time benefits, including employee discounts and training opportunities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a store culture aligned with Worldwide Golf’s values and the “Sure No Problem” approach.
• Handle all customer transactions at the service desk and ensure guest satisfaction and proper cash control.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and keep in mind the customer’s last phase of shopping is at the cashier.
• Process information and merchandise via computer and POS register system.
• Assist with floor moves, housekeeping, display maintenance and merchandise replenishment as needed.
• Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Job Description

The Cashier atThe Golf Mart is responsible for promoting and maintaining a store culture that is consistent with Worldwide Golf’s values, including the “Sure No Problem” philosophy, which has made Worldwide Golf what it is today. "Sure No Problem" means putting the customer first, and doing whatever we can to ensure a memorable and positive customer experience.

The Cashier is also responsible for all customer transactions, ensuring guest satisfaction at the service desk and proper control of all cash and media materials. Responsibilities include:

Demonstrate excellent customer service, keeping in mind that the customer’s last phase of their shopping experience is with the cashier.

Process information and merchandise through computer and POS register system.

Assist with floor moves, housekeeping, display maintenance and merchandise replenishment as needed.

Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.

Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Knowledge of processing information and merchandise via computer and POS register system.

Freely access all areas of the store including sales floor, stock area and register area by standing, walking, stooping, crawling, climbing, crouching, kneeling and climbing a ladder; ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds at any given time.

Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.

Qualifications Desired

General golf knowledge/background is a plus, but not required

The hourly rate for this position is $16.90 - $18.00 per hour. Individual starting rate within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
