Cashier Team Member (Front End Service) - Part Time

This position involves supporting the Customer Service & E-Commerce team by assisting customers at checkout, performing cash register functions, bagging groceries, and working at the customer service desk. Responsibilities include maintaining attractive displays, providing courteous service, and adhering to store procedures and health and safety regulations.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Efficiently and accurately check out customer groceries.
  2. Follow regulations concerning sale of alcohol and taxation.
  3. Properly handle check, ATM, and credit transactions.
  4. Use tare procedures for scalable items.
  5. Maintain cleanliness and stock in front end areas, including registers.
  6. Follow cash handling policies and procedures.
  7. Assist with training new cashiers if needed.
  8. Help control customer flow and reduce wait times.
  9. Participate in company programs and adhere to schedules and training.
  10. Provide excellent customer service and address customer needs promptly.
  11. Maximize sales through proper merchandising and product handling.
  12. Follow safety, sanitation, and operational procedures.
  13. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  14. Perform opening, mid, and closing duties accurately.
  15. Report safety hazards immediately.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned.
