Cashiers are the first point of contact for our guests and are directly responsible for delivering a great experience. You will take and enter orders, handle payments, keep the dining room and other guest areas clean, and provide excellent service by following standard operating procedures with a sense of urgency.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Complete all training requirements including Zaxbys Front of House Development Plan, hands-on stations training, and any additional training required by Zax LLC.
• Provide friendly, enthusiastic service for all guests, including greeting and thanking them.
• Maintain awareness of current promotions, explain menu items, answer questions, and suggest additional items.
• Accurately complete orders and guest transactions, operate cash registers, handle payments, and maintain receipts.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment, including dining room, counters, bathrooms, and exterior.
• Stock supplies, keep work areas clean and organized, and prepare menu items according to standards.
• Ensure food safety and handle food and beverages properly.
• Assist with kitchen and back of house tasks as assigned.
• Complete all tasks with a sense of urgency, work safely, and follow all safety guidelines.

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to work 32 to 40 hours per week.
