Job summary

GPM Investments is hiring Sales Associates to keep our stores welcoming and running smoothly in West Memphis, AR. You will handle registers, assist customers, and maintain a spotless store through all weather and busy periods.

You will learn lottery, tobacco, and alcohol processes with required age checks, uphold safety standards, and participate in restocking and merchandising. Prior retail experience helps, but on‑the‑job training is available.

Qualifications

• Age requirements vary by state: 21+ in most states; some states allow 18+ depending on role.
• Weekend and holiday availability is required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Basic math skills required for transactions.
• Able to lift 10 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
• Friendly, reliable, and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and operate the register with accuracy and speed.
• Become knowledgeable in lottery, tobacco, and alcohol sales with proper age verification.
• Upsell customers to help increase sales where appropriate.
• Maintain clean and safe store interiors and exteriors, including restrooms and pumps.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep products neat.
