Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Sales Associate who greets customers, runs the register with speed and accuracy, and keeps the store clean and inviting for every guest.

You'll handle lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales in full compliance with age-verification laws, upsell when appropriate, and contribute to a safe, well-organized shopping environment across indoor and outdoor areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service is appreciated but not required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.
• Basic math skills for register transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a smile and operate the register accurately.
• Ensure compliance with age-verification laws for lottery, tobacco, and alcohol.
• Upsell customers when possible to increase sales.
• Keep the inside and outside of the store clean and safe, including restrooms and pumps.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays; maintain a neat, inviting layout.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed; follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Be a team player and help wherever needed during busy periods.
