Job summary

You will greet customers, run the register, assist with lottery and tobacco/alcohol sales, and upsell when possible. The role requires reliability, basic math, and a willingness to work weekends and holidays in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service is appreciated, but not required.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.
• Capable of frequently lifting 10 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and operate the register with accuracy and speed.
• Assist with lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales in compliance with laws.
• Upsell customers to increase sales.
• Maintain store cleanliness inside and outside, including restrooms and lot.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise looking fresh.
• Keep entryways clean and organized; sweep and mop as needed.
• Cross-train in other departments like deli.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Be a team player and help where needed.
