The role involves assisting customers with purchases, learning the basics of lottery, tobacco, and alcohol sales, and promoting upsells where appropriate.

You will also help keep the store tidy, stock shelves, and support other departments as needed, including deli, while adhering to safety policies and delivering friendly service.

Qualifications

• Prior retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to greet customers and handle transactions with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and operate the register with accuracy and speed.
• Ensure compliance with age-verification and legal requirements for lottery, cigarettes, and alcohol.
• Upsell when possible to increase sales.
• Keep store clean and safe inside and outside, including restrooms and pumps.
• Stock shelves, maintain displays, and keep entryways tidy.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed; follow safety procedures and company policies.
