Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Prior retail or grocery experience.
• Cash handling or POS experience.
• Tailors messaging to meet the needs of diverse customers and team members.
• Takes initiative and completes work with speed and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate a cash register accurately while following all checkout and cash-handling procedures (cash, credit/debit, EBT, WIC, gift cards, coupons, and checks).
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service, addressing complaints and feedback effectively.
• Consistently report to scheduled shifts on time and prepared to work.
• Stock, rotate, and maintain merchandise in grocery, frozen, dairy, meat, and produce departments.
• Assist with unloading delivery trucks and organizing product.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized store conditions including sales floor, restrooms, backroom, displays, and parking lot.
• Retrieve shopping carts and maintain entrance areas.
• Ensure proper product signage, pricing, and display standards.
• Support other departments and complete additional duties as assigned.
• Must Adhere to a uniform dress code.
