Are you ready to make a positive impact during afternoon and evening hours? Our second-shift Sales Associates (typically between 2 PM and Midnight) are essential in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and smoothly operating store for every customer.

We seek dependable, hardworking team members available during these hours who take pride in essential tasks like cleaning restrooms, picking up outside trash, and ensuring store safety and cleanliness. If you're comfortable getting your hands dirty and enjoy helping others, this role might be perfect for you!

What You'll Do

• Greet customers warmly and operate the register efficiently
• Gain expertise in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales, ensuring compliance with legal age verification
• Provide friendly service and upsell to increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and safety inside and outside the store, including deep cleaning restrooms, sanitizing gas pumps, trash pickup, and weather-appropriate trash disposal
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise appealing
• Keep the store organized and clean, including sweeping, mopping, and window cleaning
• Cross-train in other departments, such as deli, as needed
• Follow safety procedures and company policies
• Assist team members and step into other roles when necessary

Requirements

• Age: 18+ in AR, CT, FL, LA, MI, MA, MS, MO, NC, SC, TX, TN, AZ, CO; 21+ in other states
• Availability to work weekends and holidays, mainly afternoons to evenings
• Willingness to work hard and stay on your feet in all weather conditions
• Effective communication skills in English
• Basic math proficiency
• Physical ability to lift 10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Successful passing of pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Friendly, detail-oriented, reliable, responsible, adaptable
• Experience in retail or customer service is a plus but not required
