Cashier/Sales Associate - Midday/ 2nd Shift

Join our team as a Cashier/Sales Associate for the midday/2nd shift! We are looking for energetic and friendly individuals to provide excellent customer service and handle sales transactions efficiently.

Shift Hours: 2pm-10pm

Pay Rate: $12.48/hour

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide fast, friendly service.
• Accurately process sales transactions using electronic cash registers.
• Assist with shift change procedures, including cash counting.
• Operate equipment to process money orders, credit card transactions, checks, and lottery sales.
• Check IDs for age-restricted sales responsibly.
• Maintain stock levels on shelves, including food service supplies and merchandise.
• Sanitize equipment and areas regularly following proper procedures.
• Manage trash and keep the store clean and organized.
• Check in vendor deliveries, stock shelves, and remove damaged merchandise.
• Complete bad merchandise forms as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support store operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Basic math skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs frequently.
• Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Friendly, detail-oriented, reliable, and adaptable.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
