Cashier/Sales Associate - Midday/2nd Shift

Join us as a Cashier/Sales Associate - Midday/2nd Shift at GPM Investments, LLC.

Position Overview

Our second-shift Sales Associates (typically between 2 PM and Midnight) are vital in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and smoothly operating store environment for all customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and operate the register efficiently and accurately.
• Become proficient in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales, ensuring compliance with all legal and age verification requirements.
• Provide friendly service and suggest additional purchases to boost sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety inside and outside the store, including deep cleaning restrooms, sanitizing gas pumps, trash removal, and outdoor litter pickup.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to ensure merchandise appearance.
• Keep the store organized through sweeping, mopping, window cleaning, and maintaining entryways.
• Willing to cross-train in other departments such as the deli as needed.
• Adhere to safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist team members and support store operations as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be 18+ in AR, CT, FL, LA, MI, MA, MS, MO, NC, SC, TX, TN, AZ, CO; 21+ in other states.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and during the afternoon/evening hours (2 PM to Midnight).
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Basic math skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs frequently.
• Successful passing of pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
• Friendly, detail-oriented, reliable, and adaptable.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
