Job summary

GPM Investments, Li'l Cricket, Chesnee, SC is hiring a Cashier/Sales Associate for Store 3860. You will greet customers, operate the register, and keep the store clean and welcoming for every visit.

This full-time position offers a pay rate of $12.00–$14.00 per hour, with weekly pay, and opportunities for advancement. Applicants must be 21+, available weekends, and able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Age 21+
• Weekend/holiday availability
• Willingness to work hard and stay on feet
• Proficient in reading/writing/speaking English
• Basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide)
• Physical ability to lift 10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Friendly, positive demeanor and customer focus
• Detail-oriented and reliable
• Flexible to take on various tasks in a fast-paced retail setting
• Retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and process transactions accurately and quickly
• Become knowledgeable in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales with age verification compliance
• Upsell customers to boost sales when appropriate
• Keep store clean and safe indoors and outdoors, including restrooms and pump area
• Stock shelves and maintain neat displays
• Cross-train in other departments, including deli as needed
• Follow safety procedures and company policies
• Support teammates and step in where needed
