The role includes upselling, knowledge of lottery, cigarette and alcohol sales with proper age verification, and willingness to cross-train in other departments. The position requires good English communication, basic math, and the ability to stay on your feet in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Communication in English: read, write, speak, and understand effectively.
• Basic math skills required (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).
• Pre-employment screening includes drug test and background check.
• Ability to lift 10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and operate the register with accuracy and speed.
• Sell lottery, cigarette, and alcohol while ensuring age verification and legal compliance.
• Upsell customers to increase sales.
• Keep the store interior and exterior clean and safe, including restrooms and pumps.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays; maintain fresh, full merchandise.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Be a team player and assist wherever needed.
