Job summary

Koeppel Auto Group in New York seeks a friendly, detail-oriented cashier/receptionist to support the service department. You will greet customers, route inquiries, and process payments accurately.

This role emphasizes teamwork with service and parts staff, professional communication, and adherence to dealership policies, with opportunities for growth through paid training and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous cashier, receptionist, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and dealership software (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds).

Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively with service and parts teams.
• Direct customers to the correct department and notify staff when someone is waiting.
• Communicate with callers and visitors professionally and courteously.
• Answer calls and assist with service appointment inquiries.
• Handle customer concerns or direct to service personnel.
• Accurately calculate and collect payments for service repairs (cash and card).
• Reconcile daily transactions and prepare end-of-day reports.
• Review final repair orders for accuracy and documentation.
• Assist service advisors with filing and administrative tasks.
• Maintain an organized cashier workspace.
• Uphold dealership policies and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively with the service and parts teams
