Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a cashier to provide a fast, friendly checkout experience and help customers get the best value possible. You will handle payments, assist at the self-checkout area, scan and bag items, and answer questions while maintaining a clean workstation.

Ideally you have retail or customer service experience, can stand for long periods, and are comfortable with basic arithmetic and computer use. The role may involve assisting other departments and stocking shelves as needed.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state
