Job summary

Zixta Enterprises Inc. is seeking a friendly cashier to greet customers, handle sales transactions, and balance the till at shift end. You will process cash, credit/debit, WIC and Food Stamps, follow ABC regulations, check IDs for tobacco and age 21 for cigarettes, and assist with promotions.

Maintain a clean workstation and support the produce area as needed. Physical duties include lifting up to 60 lbs, standing, walking the produce area, and bagging merchandise while ensuring a positive

Qualifications

• Pass Produce Code Test.
• Pass WIC Grocery Test.
• Must follow ABC (Alcohol Beverage Control) regulations, ask for identification for under-35.
• Ask for ID for anyone under 21 when purchasing cigarettes.

-Job Duties:Operate cash till, balancing the till at the end of your shift.Greet all customers in a friendly manner.Complete all sales transactions: Cash, Credit Card, Debit Card, WIC, and Food Stamps.Cash checks in accordance with policy.Bag merchandise after sales transaction is completed and paid for.Thank customers for their patronage.Maintain a clean workstation.Walk produce department daily.Know weekly specials.Sign in and out for breaks.Scan items per minute within policy.Follow the cash irregularities policy.Assist and participate with Company marketing promotional events and programs as neededJob Requirements:Follow dress/uniform policy.Must pass Produce Code Test.
