About the Role:

Mollie Stone's Market is seeking a part-time Apprentice Cashier at our Tower location. The ideal candidate will be customer service driven and flexible with working various tasks from day to day.

Essential Functions:

• Processing sales at the register
• Scanning items accurately and efficiently; ability to properly identify produce items
• Handling money
• Bagging groceries for customers and providing carry-out service if needed
• Retrieving baskets and carts for the store
• Cleaning up and general housekeeping duties
• Providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with questions
• Maintaining knowledge of weekly ad items; guiding customers to product locations throughout the store
• Restocking inventory, conducting price checks, and returning products to proper shelves

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Ability to learn new technology
• Willingness to train and work in other store areas as needed
• Availability to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays
• Local candidates only

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to regularly lift at least 50 lbs
• Standing: Up to 8 hours per day
• Walking: Up to 6 hours per day
• Reaching: Up to 4 hours per day
• Potential requirement to wear Covid-19 PPE as mandated by company policy

Pay Range: $19.45 - $23.50/hour depending on experience
