About the Role:

Mollie Stone's Market is seeking a part-time Apprentice Cashier at our Castro location. The ideal candidate will be customer service driven and flexible, capable of handling various tasks daily.

Essential Functions:

• Processing sales at the register
• Scanning items accurately and efficiently; identifying produce items
• Handling money
• Bagging groceries and providing carry-out service if needed
• Retrieving baskets and carts
• General housekeeping and cleanup
• Providing exceptional customer service and assisting with questions
• Knowing weekly ad items and directing customers to products
• Restocking inventory, conducting price checks, managing returns

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Detail-oriented
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to learn new technology
• Willingness to train and work in other store areas
• Availability for various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Local candidates only

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly lift at least 50 lbs
• Stand for up to 8 hours/day
• Walk for up to 6 hours/day
• Reaching for up to 4 hours/day
• Wear PPE as mandated by company policy, including COVID-19 related PPE

Pay Range: $19.45-$23.50/hour depending on experience
