About the Role :

• Mollie Stone's Market is seeking a part-time Apprentice Cashier at our Grand Central location. The ideal candidate will be customer service-driven and flexible with various tasks from day to day.

Essential Functions :

• Processing sales at the register.
• Scanning items accurately and efficiently; ability to properly identify produce items.
• Bagging groceries for customers and providing carry-out service if needed.
• Retrieving baskets and carts for the store.
• Performing clean-up and general housekeeping duties.
• Providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with questions.
• Maintaining knowledge of weekly ad items and directing customers to product locations throughout the store.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Detail-oriented.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Ability to learn new technology.
• Willingness to train and work in other store areas as needed.
• Availability to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

Physical Requirements :

• Must be able to regularly lift at least 50 lbs.

Other Physical Activities :

• Standing up to 8 hours per day.
• Walking up to 6 hours per day.
• Reaching up to 4 hours per day.
