Sarge’s Delicatessen & Diner in New York, NY is seeking an energetic Cashier/Phone Order Taker to warmly greet guests, handle payments, and take phone orders with accuracy. You will learn our menu quickly, use Toast POS, and work with a friendly team to ensure fast, friendly service in a lively restaurant setting.

Part-time position with opportunities to grow within the team. Prior hospitality experience is a plus; strong English communication, cash handling, and multitasking are desired

Collaborate with coworkers to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth service and not be afraid to ask coworkers questions. Be able to multitask without compromising timeliness and accuracy,. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment and work independently. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier station to promote a welcoming environment. Experience with restaurant POS Toast is highly desirable. Knowledge of restaurant operations is a plus but not mandatory
