Position Summary

The Cashier utilizes a POS system to process transactions, accepts payments, and serves concession items to guests. Responsibilities include preparing and pouring beverages, serving them to guests, and ensuring the quality of food presentation. The role requires maintaining excellent attendance in accordance with company policy and keeping concessions areas clean and compliant.

This position offers an hourly rate of $15, plus tips.

Responsibilities

1. Process transactions using the POS system by entering orders and completing sales.
2. Maintain stock levels and communicate low stock items to the Concessions Stand Manager.
3. Respond to customer requests and concerns courteously.
4. Keep work areas clean and organized, including disposal of garbage and cleaning dishes.
5. Serve beverages responsibly, including alcohol, verifying guest IDs to ensure legal age compliance.
6. Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in all work areas.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
2. Must be 18 or over.
3. Experience in the food service industry preferred.
4. Previous cash handling experience preferred.
5. Ability to learn cash handling and operate a cash register system.
6. Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude towards co-workers, managers, volunteers, and guests.
