Job summary

The Salvation Army in Dallas, TX is seeking a Part-Time Store Associate to join our busy retail team. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, balance the drawer, process receipts, and help with donations and merchandising.

Pay is $12.04 per hour with benefits; a High School diploma or GED is preferred, along with prior retail experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

• Clean display racks and shelves; sweep and mop floors; clean windows, mirrors, and help maintain overall cleanliness of store.
• Answer the store telephone in a tactful and courteous manner.

• Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of merchandise and displays.
• Maintain the neatness and security of the cash register area; secure merchandise and the cash register.
• Clean display racks and shelves; sweep and mop floors; clean windows, mirrors, and help maintain overall cleanliness of store.
• Answer the store telephone in a tactful and courteous manner.

QualificationsEducation and Experience

High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred and experience working in a retail store preferred or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
